 For the Home Children we have started a M.M.Primary School. To give quality teaching we have employed qualified teachers. We engaged 7 workers as teaching and non-teaching staff. We have about 180 enrolled students, and half of the students come from the surrounding villages from Hindu families. This is a free school and we . targetting to help poorest of the poor children and the downtrodden. We only charge a minimum |
We only charge a minimum fee for the school bus. There are more than 200 children in the school and half of them come from nearby villages and remaining from the children Home. They are furnished with minimum infra structure like classrooms, play ground but we need to develop a library and sports room too. And a computer lab where children can have access to learn the basics. We also have a large school ground and children can play various things.
Challenges: We need to upkeep the school and also furnish some furniture and technical things. This school is a good tool to reach non christian homes.
The biggest challenge is to have a new school bus the old one is 10 years old and worn out. It gets lot of repairs. The school bus is very useful to commute the children from the villages and also for the home children to the high school and to get regular supplies for the home. It will make atleast 12 trips a day. |
