Child Care

In recent past the Government agent disclosed the facts that 25 million children who have never been to a school, and 10 million children work and sleep on streets every day. Vijayawada has become a junction to such children by having a central railway junction. The facts led us to practical acts faithfully.

In 1993 with 20 orphans, semi-orphans and needy children we started a home. After one and half a decade the number raised up to 300. That was great blessing for the orphans and needy children. In the year 1996 the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches have come forward to donate liberally. As a result a very good piece of land was bought. It is about 18 kilometers away from the city of Vijayawada. It is called Madalavari gudem. Subsequently the buildings are provided, boys dormitory, girls dormitory and a dining hall with sitting capacity of 200 children at a time, workers quarters, the auditorium and a primary school. To God be the glory.
Out of the 300+ there are 79 children who are studying in different colleges. atleast 22 girls turned to be the nurses and several students are spread in different colleges. It is amazing to see their development. They are taken into the home while they are kids, now they are grown up like blossoms. Before they leave home they could be self reliant and most importantly they know the savior in their lives. The primary motive of ongoing children home ministry is to give holistic development to a child and to make them Christ centered.
The biggest challenge for the Children Home is to procure rice for children . Usually we need 1000 bags of rice every year, each bag contains 75 kgs and each bag costs Rs 1000. Please pray and participate.
